Rick and Carol Nugent started Nugent Builders in 1978 and have successfully expanded a small family-owned business featuring custom designed and built homes to a company of 40+ full time employees with annual sales of over $18 million. Growing in size is only one mark of the company’s success, which features a Commercial Division, New Home Building Division, and a Residential Remodeling Division. The company’s success has been built on and continues to be based on ideals of honesty, integrity, quality, and client satisfaction. With over 45 years’ experience as the owners of Nugent Builders, they have now transitioned into retirement. As the original founders of Nugent Builders, they will continue to be an inspiration for the new generation of owners moving forward into the future. They have left a timeless legacy in West Michigan as entrepreneurs, a strong presence in the Home Building community and as being a local employer of choice for decades.
